He began his career in 2016 as an audit trainee with PwC in Johannesburg and completed his chartered accounting articles at BDO UK LLP in London on the SAICA International Articles Programme.

 

Jason then worked at Morgan Stanley in London, as an Associate in the Fixed Income Finance Team, as well as an Investment Banking Analyst in the UK & Ireland Coverage M&A Team - focusing on mergers & acquisitions and capital markets advisory across the UK, Ireland, and Europe. He further expanded his expertise as a Private Equity Investment Associate, where he focused on the origination and execution of real estate investments, particularly in the hospitality sector in Sub-Saharan Africa.

 

Jason is Founder and Director of Coast 2 Coast Group (Pty) Ltd, a diversified investment holding company, backing high-growth local SMEs:. Current divisions include:

• Coast 2 Coast Property: short-term rentals in Cape Town, Knysna, Plettenberg Bay and the Eastern Cape

• Coast 2 Coast Storage: self-storage in Knysna

• Coast 2 Coast Rim & Mag Repairs: (exited): founded in 2024 and sold in 2026 to a South African tyre franchise

Jason is a qualified chartered accountant (CA (SA)) and holds a B.Com in Accounting and Finance and a Postgraduate Diploma in Accounting (PGDA) from the University of Cape Town.

He is a dual citizen of the United Kingdom and South Africa.
